Arian Born

Arian was so enthusiastic and interested in music since childhood particularly keen to learn Persian percussions. His world mesmerised by his talent & Music passion.  Some thing which he carried forward for so many years. He started learning Tonbak (Persian goblet drum) and Daf (a circular frame drum) since he was seven .

Arian talents & trainings:

Arian moved to England to study in music and music production  in 2003. By this time he also became interested in a variety style of music that could influence him to create his own original fusion style.

Arian successful percussionist

Arian highlight performances include with “Musicians without borders” at End Sexual Violence in Conflict Event, hosted by Angelina Jolie in 2014. He also performed with musicians from the BBC Philharmonic for BBC Music Day (live on BBC Radio 3 in 2015). Performance at Manchester Imperial War Museum as Part of Asia Triennial Manchester2016. Performance with Manchester International Roots Orchestra at RNCM and also a collaboration with musicians from Royal Northern College of Music Manchester, a performance at “Tea&Zen 2013″ event at Worldwide IBPS Fo Guang Shan Temple Manchester. Collaboration and performance with Mathew Herbert as Part of Edinburgh International Festival2017.

Arian Music Tuition

Arian currently teach Hand Drumming skills through workshops, one-to-one, and increasingly through schools and community groups. His focus is Persian percussion instruments. He hosted many dynamic educational drumming workshops including ‘Drum and Paint’, the combination of experimental music and art, giving an opportunity to the audiences to experience and absorb the process of creation and improvisation.”.
